The North Lake Shore Drive (NLSD) Phase I Study is a historic project that aims to improve NLSD between Grand Avenue and Hollywood Avenue. This study offers a rare opportunity to consider new solutions to enhance the historic NLSD corridor. Please watch the project update videos which discuss all of the design improvements that have been advanced since we last met. While public comments are welcome at any point in the project process, this Public Input Opportunity will be open through November 9, 2020.

This presentation briefly reviews the goals of the NLSD Phase I Study, the public involvement that has taken place during the study, and the policies and guidelines the study follows.
This presentation examines the proposed designs that are included in all NLSD alternatives, including improvements to transit, the Lakefront Trail, the parks, the roadway, and the shoreline.
This presentation provides a high-level overview of the alternatives that were analyzed during Level 2 Screening, the results of the evaluation, and a preview of the study's next steps. Please review the attached handout for a summary of the alternatives recommended to be carried forward to the next stage of analysis.
Explore the proposed alternatives and design improvements on an interactive map of the corridor. Comment on these improvements within the map!
Tell us how you use NLSD and share your priorities for the corridor!
Use virtual post-it notes to share with us, and other community members, your ideas on existing issues or the proposed improvements in the NLSD corridor!
